KARACHI: Unknown attackers targeted Lyari on Sunday with a hand grena
de, which seriously injured at least 12 people.

he reason for the attack is
said to be a gang war as the grenade was thrown at the house of an alleged gang leader, Uzair Baloch, at Sango Lano neighbourhood
. The attackers managed to escape.
City SSP Adeel Chandio
said that explosive was made from a local material.
The victims were rushed to a medical facility for treatme
nt and two people are
said to be in critical condition
. The SSP also
said that raids have been started to arrest the suspects.
