ISLAMABAD: The Fed
eration of All Pakistan Universities Academic Staff Association (FAPUASA) on Sunday strongly condemned the stance taken against academic staff associations by
vice chancellors of public universities before the Senate standing committee. At a meeting chaired by
FAPUASA Punjab chapter president Dr Javed Ahmad, a unanimous announcement was made that
vice chancellors of some universities had shown unconstitutional and non-democratic attitude in the committee he
aring on the issue. The fed
eration maintained that there were c
oncerns about the eligibility of a few of those
vice chancellors to hold the office.
