KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has urged all the elected representatives to take ownership of the s
chemes launched under the Annual Development Programme (ADP) by monitoring their execution so that their pace and quality of work can be ensured.
He said this while presiding over two different meetings on District ADP of three districts, Matiari, Thatta and Sujawal at the CM House today. The meeting was attended by provincial ministers, Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, Jam Mehtab Dahar, Jam Khan Shoro, Imdad Pitafi, Fayaz Butt, Chairman P&D M. Waseeem, Principal Secretary to CM Naveed Kamran Baloch, provincial secretaries, elected representatives of concerned districts and concerned district officers.
In district Matiari 12 different departments have started 39 s
chemes of Rs1904.305 million against which Rs945.438 million have been released. The expenditures on the s
chemes are around Rs650.5 million. The government has released 100 percent funding for 11 on-going s
chemes which are likely to be completed by second week of June 2017.
The important s
chemes of Auqaf department include construction of shrine of Ahmed Shah Lakyari of Rs58.989 million, Cultural village at Bhit Shah of Rs48 million and construction of auditorium hall, rest house and main entrance gate at Dargah Hazrat Sardar Ahmed Shah Lakyari.

ing facilities to different schools of Rs30 million, construction of building for shelterless primary school of Rs30 million, reconstruction of high schools Makhdoom Ghu
lam Hyder and primary school Panjmore of Rs37.741 million and construction of auditorium hall degree college Hala of Rs40 million.
The health department has launched Makhdoom Mohammad Zaman Talibul Mola college and teaching hospital of Rs1600 million. The indust
ries department has launched a RsArisan city over an area of 10 acres at a cost of Rs158.7 million.
The irrigation department scheme of construction of surface drainage scheme in Deh Dethki taluka New Saeedabad for Rs220.291 million. Rebuilding of 25 bores at different tube wells, restoration of SCARP tube-wells and construction of new 25 bores at talukas of Matiari and Hala of an amount Rs374 million .
The local government has launched Rs250 million for the improvement of water supply and sewerage system at Bhitshah.
Under the road sector road scheme which has started on different village roads such as road from Sahar Hajano to Syed Mitho Shah, road from National Highway to village Deedar Khaskheli via Kot Nindioani Panhwar, UC Bhitshah. The PHE department has launched a scheme to remove hazardous dirty wat
er logging accumulated behind village Bakhar Jamali, taluka Saeedabad, construction of darainage scheme for village Sanghar Soomro of Rs16 million, rural drainage scheme village Amin Lakho of Rs25 million.
The Sports department has launched a Rs20 million construction of Malakhra Stadium at Dargah Hazrat Ahmed Shah Lakyari. There are also 12 s
chemes of small roads in different villages of Hala, Matiari and Saeedabad.
