ISLAMABAD: Airport Security Force (ASF) at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Monday thwarted an attem
pt to smuggle heroin to the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to sources, ASF personnel carrying out a routine search discovered three kilogrammes of heroin in the luggage of
a passenger.
The said passenger, identified as Kashif, resident of Charsadda, had booked a ticked on an international airline and was on his way to Jeddah.
ASF sources confirmed that the passenger and his brother have been arrested.
