hammadi Medical Hospital Mirpurkhas. With an aim to raise public aware
ness about tub
erculosis and the efforts made to prevent and treat the disease, the theme of World TB Day 2017 is “Unite to End TB”. There were various World Tub
erculosis Day events and activities organized by Mu
hammad Medical Hospital Mirpurkhas and various organizations to prevent and treat tub
erculosis. Photo exhibitions showcased images to raise awareness of
TB. It commemorates the day in 1882 when Dr Robert Koch astounded the scientific community by announcing that he had discovered the cause
of tuberculosis.
